Arca’s New Mount Pleasant Lab & Office
Vancouver, BC • ~7,000 Square Feet
Headquartered in Vancouver, BC, Arca is pioneering carbon mineralization technology to help stabilize the climate. Their innovative approach removes CO2 from the atmosphere and transforms it into rock, offering a scalable, permanent carbon removal solution with an ultralight environmental footprint. Last year, as Arca continued to scale its operations, they needed a functional and well-designed space that could support both their research and growing team. That’s where Floorspace stepped in.

Project Details
Floorspace’s Director of Workplace Solutions, Eva Phung, worked closely with Arca to design and build out their 7,000-square-foot Mount Pleasant lab and office space. From space planning to vendor coordination, Eva ensured the project met Arca’s unique needs while keeping construction on track.
The project involved a complete renovation of the lab, upgrading the building’s power infrastructure, and refreshing the office with new finishes, lighting, and security systems. Eva also coordinated IT and AV installations, ensuring the workspace was fully functional from day one. Her leadership in managing contractors, vendors, and building stakeholders kept everything running smoothly, minimizing disruption for Arca’s team.
A key part of the transformation was ensuring the office felt both high-functioning and inviting—a critical factor for attracting top talent in Vancouver’s competitive tech and sustainability sector. Eva worked with Arca to select furniture, finishes, and layout designs that supported both collaboration and focused work. The result? A cutting-edge lab and workspace where Arca’s team can continue driving climate innovation.
