M Moser’s Living Lab

Towards the end of 2023, M Moser Associates’ Vancouver team set out to reimagine their workspace as a “living lab”. The goal was to redefine the workspace experience while reflecting their ESG targets and global values. The living lab serves as a testing ground for new ideas and solutions, allowing employees, clients, and partners to collaborate, innovate, and enhance the workplace experience.
Project Details
One of the key design objectives was to ensure the project aligned with the firm’s global values, ESG targets, WELL Platinum, and net zero certifications, while also increasing attendance, attraction, and retention through a dynamic, resilient, and healthy space.
M Moser’s relocation to 815 West Hastings Street, and subsequent renovation, demonstrates what is achievable through innovative upgrades, smart building technology, and thoughtful renovations. The space builds on insights and data from previous living labs to test and refine solutions, ensuring they meet evolving needs and help deliver maximum value to clients.

About the Author
Cassie Cannon
Cassie serves as the Marketing and Research Coordinator at Floorspace, where she brings her expertise to various facets of the business. She conducts market research to support client target marketing and identify new opportunities for growth, while also providing extensive client support through multi-media marketing strategies.
Prior to joining Floorspace, Cassie held multiple roles in the real estate, finance, and technology sectors. Most recently, Cassie gained valuable experience in residential real estate, working as a licensed advisor for a top-performing team at Engel & Völkers. Her two years in the residential sector equipped her with an in-depth understanding of client needs and market dynamics. Earlier in her career, Cassie worked as a Business Development Manager at Canada’s industry leader in equipment finance, along with previously working for a worldwide media-technology company.
Cassie holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with honors from the Sauder School of Business at The University of British Columbia, where she specialized in marketing. Her academic achievements and corporate background further enhance her ability to deliver results.
Born and raised in Vancouver, Cassie has a deep connection to the city. When she’s not working, you’re likely to find her on the soccer pitch, staying active in the gym, or exploring Vancouver’s diverse food scene.
