Homegrown biotech company AbCellera announced plans to further expand their footprint in Mount Pleasant, in a partnership with Beedie Development.

AbCellera currently occupies space at 2215 Yukon Street (their original HQ in Mount pleasant), along with location at 2131 Manitoba Street, built by Wesgroup, and the recently announced development at 150 West 4th Avenue that is being developed by Dayhu and Lark Group.
The two developments at 150 West 4th and 110 West (once completed and approved) would allow AbCellera to occupy the entire block bounded by West 4th Ave, Manitoba Street, West 5th Ave and Columbia Street.





The rezoning and development application is still be considered by the City of Vancouver. Additional details can be found here and below.

The zoning would change from I-1 (Industrial) District to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. This proposal includes:
- A floor space ratio (FSR) of 7.0
- A floor area of 20,563 sq. m (221,343 sq. ft.)
- A building height of 45.97m (151 ft.)
- 268 underground parking spaces and 88 bicycle spaces
