Some careers start at full throttle. Others build momentum over time. For Kelsey Stanger’s next chapter at Floorspace, the path to brokerage has been steady, thoughtful, and deeply rooted in experience.

Kelsey has over 15 years of experience in commercial real estate. This includes more than a decade at Colliers and time as a founding team member at Floorspace. In particular, she has worked across both office and industrial markets, primarily in execution, marketing, and project support roles. Her work has helped bring some of Vancouver’s most significant transactions to life.

With her children now in school, Kelsey has the space to take on more. She is stepping confidently into an expanded brokerage role. By doing so, she builds on the strong foundation she has established over the years.

“I didn’t come to be a broker through the usual path. But I’ve always been part of the industry,” says Kelsey. “Since joining Floorspace, I’ve had the chance to build my practice in a way that worked for me. Now, I’m excited to lean in and take it further.”

Backing Women Through Industry Transitions

Kelsey’s story isn’t uncommon—but the opportunity to stay connected and continue growing in the industry often is. That said, in commercial real estate, it’s not unusual for women to shift gears while raising young children. What’s less common is being able to stay engaged without stepping away entirely.

At Floorspace, Kelsey was given room to grow her career. Thanks to the flexibility, she was able to grow her career at a pace that suited her and her family. As Kelsey takes on more responsibilities as a broker, she benefits from the guidance of senior broker Jocelyne Legal, whose experience in balancing career and family has made her an invaluable mentor.

Jocelyne’s mentorship has been incredibly grounding. She understands what it means to navigate the business while raising a family, and she’s been generous with her time and guidance.

Their collaboration reflects the kind of culture Floorspace is proud to foster. Experience is shared, growth is supported, and success looks different for everyone.

Rooted in Relationships, Guided by Values

Kelsey’s connection to real estate runs deep. Growing up with a broker father, she saw firsthand what it takes to build a business on trust and entrepreneurship.

Known for her steady presence, strong instincts, and thoughtful communication style, Kelsey brings a relational approach to every project. Alongside her role as a broker, she leads the firm’s Health & Wellness Committee. There, she is committed to creating a workplace culture that supports the full spectrum of life and career.

Outside the office, she lives in North Vancouver with her husband and two young children. She spends as much time as possible outdoors. She stays connected to the community she serves and the values she leads with.

Kelsey’s next chapter isn’t a restart. Ultimately, it’s a natural progression. Experience, mentorship, and the belief that meaningful careers in real estate can take multiple paths guide her next chapter.
