Floorspace is headed to Web Summit Vancouver as an Alpha startup. Here’s why that matters… for us, for our clients, and for the future of commercial real estate.
Commercial real estate isn’t exactly known for being fast to change. But that’s why we’re going.
Next week, Floorspace is proud to be part of Web Summit Vancouver as a selected Alpha startup, joining a curated group of early-stage companies rethinking the industries they know best. We’re bringing FLO – our proprietary leasing management platform built by brokers, for brokers – to the global stage, and we couldn’t be more excited to represent both the Proptech space and the city we call home.

What Is Web Summit?
Web Summit is one of the largest and most influential tech events in the world, and this year it’s coming to Canada for the first time. Thousands of founders, investors, and industry leaders will descend on Vancouver to talk about what’s next – across AI, climate tech, Fintech, Healthtech, and yes, Proptech.
We’ll be there alongside other Alpha startups showcasing breakthrough products, and we’re looking forward to introducing FLO to a whole new audience.

Why FLO? Why Now?
We built FLO because we’ve lived the pain. As brokers ourselves, we’ve seen firsthand how disjointed the leasing process can be – juggling spreadsheets, email threads, clunky CRMs, and last-minute marketing assets just to keep a project on track.
FLO changes that. It gives brokers a smarter, centralized workspace to track deals, engage clients, pull insights, and get more done with less friction.
And the best part? It’s working. Our platform is already in use at Floorspace Brokerage, we’re seeking partner offices in other markets, and we’re seeing how powerful it can be when brokers have tools that actually work the way they do.

Why Web Summit?
Because this industry needs more builders.
Too many tools in CRE are retrofits – built for sales teams, repurposed for brokers. We’re doing it differently. We’re using real brokerage experience to build better technology, and Web Summit is a chance to share that story, connect with other problem-solvers, and see how the world’s best are pushing their industries forward.
It’s also a chance to listen – to learn from other founders, gather feedback, and see how Proptech fits into the broader innovation landscape.

What’s Next?
We’ll be sharing more throughout the week of the summit, including behind-the-scenes moments, insights from the floor, and takeaways from our pitch and conversations.
If you’re curious about what we’re building – or if you’ve ever wished for a better way to run your deals – we’d love to talk.
